FAQ'S

  1. What kind of work do you do?
    A: Pretty much everything; light plumbing, such as faucets, toilets, dishwasher hook-ups, water filter systems, food waste disposals. Light electrical, such as ceiling fans, dimmer switches, new outlets, inside or outside, etc.. Tile, small amounts of flooring (under 50 square feet).
  2. What kind of work do you not do?
    A: Painting, large drywall projects, flooring projects over 50 sqft.
  3. Do you charge by the hour or by the job?
    A: I charge by the hour, my rate is $55 per hour, I have a 2 hr minimum, $440 per day.
  4. What's your availability?
    A: Generally I'm booked 2 - 3 weeks in advance, but it never hurts to ask, as there are always cancellations, or I may be able to stop by after a half day job, so you should call to see what's available.
  5. How long have you been doing handywork?
    A: I feel like the answer to that is, all my life. I was that kid who liked to tinker with things to see how they work, then I went into the Marine Corps where I became a helicopter mechanic, working on hydraulic systems for heavy lift helicopters. I started Webb's Handyman Service in 2007.
  6. Do you have kids?
    A: I have twin girls and a wife, we've been married 5 years now.
  7. Where are you based?
    A: I'm based in Inglewood, CA.
  8. What is your service area?
    A: 15 miles from Inglewood. This includes Torrance to the south, Bell Gardens to the east, West Hollywood to north, and Santa Monica to west.
  9. Are you licensed, bonded and insured?
    A: There is no license for a handyman and bonding is generally only used by contractors for large projects where an amount of money is set aside by the contractor to immediately cover a claim. I am insured with general liability insurance.
  10. What are your hours?
    A: 10 - 6, Tuesday thru Friday. Closed Saturday, Sunday is estimates only, Closed Monday.
